Make Your Driveway a Jolly Spectacle
People always decorate their front porch but rarely give consideration to their garage. This holiday, why not give your driveway a makeover to display your holiday spirit? Christmas decorations for the garage door will really add some life to the exterior as a whole.
Garage Door Decoration Ideas
You can place decorations on the door in ways that don’t inhibit its operation. Stick to banners and reusable wall decal stickers. You can also place a wreath right above the door.
As for Christmas lights, string them along the side of the door. The lights can even be placed directly on the garage door and in a formation that spells out a message or creates a shape, such as a Christmas tree or angel.
Place giant, plastic candy canes right along the perimeter of the driveway. There are some varieties that light up, which adds a really cool glowing effect during the evening.
Finally, don’t forget the giant inflatables. The inflatable Santa along with Rudolph and snowman never fail as an attention grabber. Of course, these will have to be placed just outside the driveway.
The Gift of a New Garage Door
A few years ago, a client of ours had us install a new garage door for her parents’ home as a Christmas present. The client wrapped a giant bow on the door, and you can imagine the shock and awe on the parents’ face as they entered the driveway and were met with a huge surprise.
We can do something similar for you. Aside from installations, National Door also provides repairs and garage door opener maintenance. Give us a call this holiday season; your garage door never takes a break, not even during this jolly moment. It can always benefit from a routine inspection.
We don’t provide Christmas decorations for the garage door, but we would like to share with you this gallery of beautifully decorated garages.
